Your privacy is very important to us. This Privacy Policy spells out Cypress & 5th's commitment to respecting the privacy of our members and the visitors to the Site.     1. Registration and Ordering.

  2. Information Use and Disclosure.
    1. Internal Use. We may internally use your personal information to improve our Site’s content and layout, to improve our outreach and for our own marketing efforts (including marketing our services and products to you through various channels, including but not limited to email, snail mail, phone calls or text message), and to determine general marketplace information about visitors to this Site.

    2. Communications with You. We use your personal information to process and fulfill your orders, to communicate with you regarding your orders anddeliveries and to provide you with other client services. We will use your personal information to communicate with you about our site. Also, we may send you a confirmation email when you register with us. Similarly, to help you buy products and provide Client Services to you, we must provide your credit card number and related credit card information to financial services corporations such as credit card processors and issuers. Unless you instruct us otherwise (and you may do so as described above in "Overview and Types of Information Collected or in Section 1.c.3), we may disclose your personal information to other persons or entities whom we believe are trustworthy and whom we have asked to confirm that their privacy practices are consistent with ours.       6. We may share aggregate, non-personal information (such as the number of daily visitors to a particular web page, or the size of an order placed on a certain date) with third parties such as advertising partners. This information does not directly personally identify you or any user.

Data Security

This site incorporates physical, electronic, and administrative procedures to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information, including Secure Sockets Layer ("SSL") for all financial transactions through this Site. We use SSL encryption to protect your personal information online, and we also take several steps to protect your personal information in our facilities. Access to your personal information is restricted. Only employees who need access to your personal information to perform a specific job are granted access to your personal information. Finally, we rely on third-party service providers for the physical security of some of our computer hardware. We believe that their security procedures are adequate. Cypress & 5th uses industry-standard procedures and safeguards designed to protect all personal information from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure. All Cypress & 5th employees with access to personal information are required to follow specific practices concerning its proper handling.

While we use industry-standard precautions to safeguard your personal information, we cannot guarantee complete security. 100% complete data security does not presently exist anywhere online or offline. As a result, while we strive to protect your information, we cannot and do not guarantee or warrant the security of any such information you provide to us, and you do so at your own risk.

In the unlikely event that we believe the security of your personal information in our possession or control may have been compromised, we may seek to notify you of that development via any contact method, including via any contact information we have collected for you. If a notification is appropriate, we will endeavor to do so as promptly as possible under the circumstances, and, to the extent we have your email address, we may notify you by email.

Opt Out / Corrections

On your request, we will (a) correct or update your personal information; (b) stop sending certain non-membership or non-order related emails to your email address; and/or (c) disable your account to prevent any future purchases through that account. Again, we may require reasonable identifying information or answers to security questions before we can fulfill any opt-out requests or requests concerning the use or disclosure of your information.

Please note that despite any actions you take to opt out of receiving non-membership or non-order related emails to your email address, you agree that any purchase you make on the Site subsequent to your request to opt-out may be considered your affirmative consent to opt back into, or opt into, any of our email distribution lists.

Offline Collection, Use and Disclosure of Information

As you might expect, the majority of information that we collect is obtained through our Site, and this Privacy Policy applies only to that online collection of personal information. However, we also collect information offline, where we also try to protect the privacy of your personal information. By way of example, you may call us to place an order or to ask questions. When you call, we will ask only for the personal information we need in order to place the order or to answer the question. When we need to store information (such as order information) we will enter it into our database and maintain that information in accordance with our policies for the storage of information collected online. (See the Data Security section above for more information).

Similarly, if you fax something to us, we will act upon the fax and then either store or shred the fax, depending on whether there is any need to retain the information. Generally, we will try to treat offline collection, uses, and disclosures consistently with our relevant online practices.

What If You're Not A Cypress & 5th Member, But You've Been Contacted By Cypress & 5th?

If you're not a member but you've been contacted by Cypress & 5th, we may have received your information in a few different ways.

First, someone may have referred you to us. Also, a member may have given us your name and email address in order for them to customize an invitation for you to become a member. You also may have received similarly customized email reminders from one of your friends about this type of invitation. If you apply for membership, your information will be used in accordance with the rest of this Privacy Policy. If you choose not to apply online, your name and email address may be retained and used by us, subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Also, a member may have shipped a gift or other merchandise to you through us and provided your personal information for that purpose. We may retain and use information we receive about you through this process, subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

If you were a prior member, we may have invited you back. We may also have received your information from one of our partners, or from the mailing, opt-in emailing, or phone lists of a reputable third party, in order to send offers or communications to you. Unless we are using an opt-in only list in our marketing efforts, Cypress & 5th will screen our lists with the Direct Marketing Association ("DMA") preference lists before we send such offers or communications.
